☀️ CARE, HEAT & STORAGE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Clack fans are handmade using sublimated fabric, plastic ribs, and adhesive during assembly.

Proper care will help extend the life of your fan.

PLEASE:

• Store your fan folded in a cool, dry area
• Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat
• Do not leave the fan inside a hot vehicle for extended periods
• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight when the fan is being stored
• Keep the fan away from heaters or other high-temperature areas
• Avoid soaking or saturating the fan with water
• Do not pull the fan open by the fabric
• Open and close the fan using the ribs/handle
• Gently separate folds if they stick together before performing a hard clack

PROLONGED EXTREME HEAT MAY:

• Soften adhesives
• Affect assembly
• Contribute to fabric separation
• Affect plastic components

Damage occurring after delivery due to improper storage, prolonged extreme heat, moisture, pulling on the fabric, excessive force, or forcing stuck folds is considered handling/use damage rather than a production defect.

🪭 OPENING YOUR CLACK FAN
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Your fan may initially feel tight because it has been freshly folded, assembled, and packaged.

This is normal.

Open the fan from the handle/ribs using a firm clack motion.

The fan may need to be opened and closed several times before it loosens.

DO NOT pull or force the fan open using the fabric edges.

If the folds appear stuck together, gently separate the folds before opening the fan.

🧵 FABRIC EDGES, FRAYING & ASSEMBLY
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

These are FABRIC fans that are individually folded and assembled by hand.

Minor handmade characteristics may include:

• Tiny loose fibers
• Small loose threads
• Minor edge fraying
• Slight adhesive marks
• Slight placement differences
• Minor press marks
• Slight fading near folds
• Visible fabric texture

Small loose threads may be carefully trimmed with scissors.

Minor fraying or loose fibers that do not interfere with the fan's use are normal characteristics of this product.

HOWEVER:

Fabric separating from a rib, severe unraveling, broken ribs, or another problem that prevents normal use should be reported through Etsy Messages within 48 HOURS OF DELIVERY.

Please include clear photos and/or video of the affected fan.

Each fan is individually sublimation printed, folded, and assembled by hand.

• Slight glue visibility near a fold or rib

These minor handmade variations are normal and are not considered defects unless they prevent the fan from being used as intended.

↩️ RETURNS, REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

Because each custom fan is personalized and made specifically for you, returns and exchanges are not accepted for:

• Change of mind

• Approved spelling or wording
• Approved photo placement
• Normal handmade variations
• Minor fabric fibers/fraying
• Minor color differences
• Screen-to-print color differences

Cancellations may only be available BEFORE design work begins.

Once your design has been created, approved, or moved into production, cancellation may no longer be available.

Bulk orders cannot be canceled after the group mockup has been approved or production materials have been prepared.

Quantity reductions cannot be made after production begins.

🚨 DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

Please inspect your order immediately after delivery.

Suspected production defects must be reported through Etsy Messages within 48 HOURS OF DELIVERY.

Please provide:

• Clear photos of the entire fan
• Close-up photos of the affected area
• Video when helpful
• Photos of damaged packaging when applicable

Examples of issues that should be reported include:

• Severe fabric separation
• Severe unraveling
• Broken ribs
• Assembly failure that prevents normal use

If a production defect is confirmed, an appropriate resolution may include:

• Replacement of the affected item
• Partial refund
• Refund of the affected item
• Another appropriate resolution depending on the circumstances

Issues first reported after the 48-hour inspection period may be reviewed individually but are not automatically considered production defects.

Normal wear, accidental damage, improper storage, excessive force, moisture exposure, prolonged extreme heat after delivery, or damage occurring through use is not considered a production defect.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or protections provided by Etsy or applicable law.
